JPMorgan Chase

Global investment bank JPMorgan Chase & Co. have had a presence in Glasgow for over 20 years. Their decision to locate to Glasgow was an important stage in the development of the International Financial Services District , known as IFSD.

In 2019 they announced plans to build a new state of the art technology home in the city, with space for 2,700 employees. It is expected to be completed in 2022. The firm currently employs around 2,000 people in Glasgow and is the largest technology employer and recruiter in Scotland. Glasgow is a key part of the global technology network that services the full range of JPMorgan Chase’s operations. They have committed over £1m to link 2000 people with skills needed to qualify for in-demand jobs.
