In a few sentences, please tell us about your organisation and your current role.
I have worked in Glasgow extensively for 35 years or so.
Our company has created a new flexible office development at a building we own and manage, the former Magnet Kitchen Showroom on Sauchiehall Street, now called MAGWRX.
MAGWRX completed in November 2025, and we are excited about the level of interest we’re currently seeing in it.
This will represent a significant regeneration of Sauchiehall Street, a key avenue in the city centre and now being reinvigorated.
We have assets all around Glasgow and have a number of other exciting redevelopments and regeneration projects live, including another MAGWRX or two in the pipeline.
I would like to see Glasgow grow and develop on its success and to create a cleaner and better-served environment for its residents, workforce and visitors.
Our business has been based in Glasgow since the 1960s and isn’t going anywhere else! Although we do have other UK assets in our portfolio.
In a few sentences, tell us why you love Glasgow.
Glasgow has always been a place of great opportunity to us as individuals and for our business.
Being based in the city allows us to understand how it works and what demand there is for commercial, leisure and residential properties.
Glasgow’s unique atmosphere, people and culture are some of the best things about it, as well as the opportunities here for people, businesses and growth, which are starting to gather pace again. We are delighted to be contributing to the city’s growth and development.
