Broomielaw

The Broomielaw is a defining stretch of Glasgow’s Clyde waterfront, forming a gateway between the city centre and the river corridor. Historically tied to maritime trade and now part of the IFSD, continuous renewal has expanded active travel routes, upgraded public realm and added new commercial activity.

A key milestone is the redevelopment of 200 Broomielaw, now one of Glasgow’s greenest Grade A workplaces (EPC A, BREEAM Excellent), providing 79,300 sq ft of flexible office space powered by 100% renewable electricity. This project strengthens the district’s role as a competitive riverside business hub.

As further plots along the Clyde regenerate, Broomielaw is evolving toward a mixed use neighbourhood supporting increased population, employment and cultural activity along a revitalised urban waterfront.
